Dropbox Picnic

On October 3rd, Dropbox had their family picnic on Treasure Island, which is a man-made island in the middle of the San Francisco Bay. It was a fun day, although really windy at times!

The kids loved the bouncy slide.

They also had a lot of fun getting to look at and sit in the fire truck!

There was lots of delicious food! They had a bunch of food trucks and you could get whatever you wanted for free. One of the food trucks had doughnuts and "cronuts". They were really yummy!

This area was the kids' area. Dropbox had hired a bunch of babysitters and the area set up so that you could drop off your kids and there were face painters, magic shows, dance parties, games and more for the kids to do.

Grant was REALLY into playing "Hungry Hungry Hippos" in the kids' area. We kept asking if he wanted to do anything else, but he just wanted to play that.

Cecilia was much more interested in the shows and activities. She loved the dance party and was the only one participating for a long time!

Looking back across the Bay towards San Francisco. You can see part of the Bay Bridge too.

Before we left, Grant decided that he would like to have a monster truck painted on his arm.

The fire fighters put up the ladder and one of them climbed up to the top. I don't think I've ever seen anyone do that in person. It is REALLY high up there!

As you can see, Lucas spent most of the time in his carrier, snuggled up to Mommy.

He was pretty happy there!

Not too long after these videos, they had to shut down and deflate all of the inflatable stuff because the wind was getting too strong. So it's good that the kids got to do the slides while they were still running!
