Games with Daddy

Cecilia has invented a game called "Over the Ocean and Far Away" where she runs across the room and then I throw a ball at her.  Here's a video of how it works.

We went to the extension ceremony of the Steven's Creek Trail. Yeah!

Tonight, we went mini-golfing with Alan and Gaoder. Cecilia got to try
hitting the ball with the club, but she was more excited to use her
hands or feet to move the ball. Although she had a couple bumps, I
think she had a lot of fun!

We bought a car

After a grueling process, we now have an ugly Honda Pilot. :D

First garden at the new house

Now that wiring is done, I got around to transplanting the broccoli, thyme, and basil to the garden. Our soil is super-hard clay so I had to spend quite some time tilling. Luckily, Sunnyvale provides free compost so over time I should be able to improve the quality of the soil.

When this bridge is finished, my bike commute will be reduced by minutes! Plus it's another bridge to cross. :D

Enjoying a trip to the farm

Today, Cecilia and I took a trip to Hidden Villa, a working
educational farm in the area. She got to see and eat some veggies, to
touch the sheep, the pigs, and the goats, and to look at the chickens.
She had a blast! I'll try to get some more of the pictures I took
uploaded later.
