Mini golf

Cecilia loves mini golf so we took her to a course. She averaged two "strokes" per hole! One to hit it, and the second to pick it up and drop it in the hole.

Flying

Grant's first flight on an airplane! Cecilia slept most of the way but when she was up she listened to her music with her new headphones.

Shayla's second birthday

Last week Shayla turned two, so we hung out with them in the afternoon. It was a blast. Cecilia had tons of fun playing in the sand and with the bubbles. Cecilia "Ceci" and Shayla laugh so much together.

Fancy dinner with the family

We went to the Collington Cafe for my grandparents' anniversary. Good stuff. It's actually Cecilia's second time there, though she was only four months old last time. :)

Beach BBQ

We went to High Cotton BBQ in the outer banks. I got fried chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and a New England stew with chicken, pork, lima beans, and a bunch of other good stuff. All of that followed by a coconut chess pie.

Backward hats!

Grant rolled over!

Earlier this evening, Grant rolled over from his tummy to his back! He seemed a little surprised to have done it. I put him back on his tummy to see if he would do it again, but he was done with tummy time at that point. So we will try again tomorrow. Perhaps next time I can get a video of it.

Cecilia and water

We went to tiny tots today and Cecilia was being a bear. To give her something to do, I taught her how to use the water dispenser. She drank something like nine cups of water, just because she liked playing with it so much. O_o Then she pooped. And within an hour, her pants were soaked, and even got me wet as I read her a story. Anyone see that coming? :P

Grant's new jumper

Laura got Grant a jumper on craigslist. He's a month younger than when Cecilia got hers, but he's SO BIG already. He can sorta jump in it already.

"Dinner-plate sized flower"

I bought this flower in February... And forgot to plant it until June or so. No wonder it's not the size of a dinner plate. :). The other one never even bloomed. I think the bulb had started to bloom in the bag.

Cecilia decided to go right to bed after her bath.

The best dessert!

Cecilia and the Dress Up Shop

Laura got a bunch of item for cheap at the Dress Up Shop, which is
going out of business because their landlord is demolishing the
