Dress up at the Austins

During the morning of August 4th, we took the kids up to the attic above the garage to play with some of the toys up there. They found some old dress up clothes and modeled some for me and Megan (and now all of you).

Family time in Richmond

On Sunday, August 3rd, most of the extended family came over to GG and Papa Austin's house to see us and celebrate everyone being together.

Cecilia LOVED getting to meet Keira. She was SO excited to have another cousin. Plus she really likes playing with younger kids, so she was on cloud nine!

Later that night, we all watched Frozen. Cecilia got to wear her new princess dress from Aunt Gaoder and was SO EXCITED to show everyone and to watch the movie.

Our trip back to Richmond

We ended up stopping at Cracker Barrel for brunch on our way back to Richmond. They were pretty busy, so we had about a 30 minute wait. While we were looking around the store, Cecilia found a fancy "Elsa" princess dress for only $20! Gaoder decided to get that for her and a new dump truck for Grant. They both LOVE their new things, so thank you Gaoder and Alan!!

Thankfully, both Grant and Cecilia slept for at least a bit on the trip after brunch. Grant slept for a good portion of the trip.

Cecilia slept for about 30 minutes. 

She was pretty wound up by the time that we got to GG and Papa's house and it was good to let both kids out to run around.

However, she was still wound up later that night when she ate some Pop Rocks
