I'm pretty sure she has already grown. O_o

Long walk wore her out

We took Cecilia on a 45 minute walk to downtown Sunnyvale - she's been
zonked since!

Cecilia's first bath

Cecilia just had her first bath. She got a little upset, but did
pretty well. Now she is all clean and smells great!

All dressed up for my doctor's appointment

On my way to my 1 week checkup. Hopefully I am back to my birth weight
and my jaundice is gone!

Just waking up

I am just waking up from my long nap.

I love to sleep on Mommy and Daddy!

Sleeping is better when it is on my Mommy or Daddy! I love it when my
bed is warm and breathes.

Two worn-out cookies

You wouldn't believe...

You wouldn't believe Cecilia was crying nonstop just before this
picture.

She is really attached to mommy's chest. She doesn't like sleeping
anywhere else.

She loves her hands

New herbs

Started a new set of herbs:

- sage
- garlic chive
- chive
- savory
- mustard

Window Planter

I got a window planter from Lowe's yesterday and transplanted the rest
of my herb seedlings. You probably can't tell what's what, so I'll do
the honors:

Outside row (more sun), front to back: lemon basil, sweet basil, oregano
Inside row (less sun): cilantro, thyme

Tomato Experiment

Our tomato got SOO much bigger while we were at the hospital with
Cecilia. I think the weather warmed up and it tripled in size. Only a
month ago it had four leaves.

Deck Garden

Got a nice little garden going on our deck: herb planter with a
hanging tomato planter in the background.

Finally!!!

After about 24 hour of frustrating problems with breastfeeding, she is
finally sleeping contentedly!!

Cecilia and her Grandma Manor!

Awake and ready for some food!

Here is Cecilia awake and ready to eat. She has a powerful rooting
instinct, sometimes even trying to suck on Mommy's face or Daddy's
knuckle when she gets hungry.

All swaddled up

We have discovered that Cecilia really likes to be swaddled up with
her hands free like this.

Cecilia's first car ride

Here is Cecilia all bundled up in her car seat for her first ride home
from the hospital. Daddy was driving really carefully on 101 with such
a precious rider in the back. Cecilia seemed to like the bumpiness of
the ride and was dozing off by the time we got home.

What a cutie!

Here is a good picture of Cecilia with her eyes wide open. She has the
most beautiful dark blue eyes!

Cecilia loves her hands!

A proud Daddy

Here is a very tired, but happy Chad and Cecilia the morning after the
birth.

Mommy and Cecilia were really tired so I kept my eyes on things and
took pictures while they napped. :)

She slept the entire time we were shopping. :)

Curing her jaundice

Cecilia has some jaundice so they asked us to put her right in the
sunlight.

Before we went to the hospital

You can see some contractions were every 3 minutes.

Laura's Contractions

I used the iPhone stopwatch to time Laura's contractions. You can see
the period between contractions is 4 minutes and each lasted about a
minute.

Everyone loves this one

Chad and Cecilia

She was even less happy with me... I think she likes mommy more at
this point. She knows mommy gives her food and then lets her sleep.
Daddy mostly takes care of mommy and does annoying things like change
diapers.

After we got home

Laura and Cecilia posing as we arrived home. Cecilia wasn't thrilled
with the change at first.

After she eats, Cecilia gets really drowsy.

Birthing Room

This is the room in which Laura birthed. Sequoia hospital was great!

Eyes open!

She loves to chew her hands. :) The nurses said it's a good thing she
learned how to self-soothe in the womb. Makes our lives easier.

Lunch at GDC

Kevin and John at a fancy Chinese restaurant on the 4th floor of a
mall in San Francisco. That place had a great pulled chicken sandwich
on roti bread.

GDC

A bunch of the IMVU folks went to GDC last week to cross-polinate with
our peers. It was so packed!

Our New Recliner

Courtesy of my parents, we got a new recliner from JCPenney's. Here is
how it looked in the store.

They gave us $100 off because of our lucky timing!

The old recliner hurt Laura's back. We're going to sell it on
Craigslist.
