On the 12th, we went to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco with Gregg and Sue. We weren't sure what it would be like, having never been there before, but we ended up having a great time!
As you can see, it was a pretty overcast/foggy day. And we all forgot how much cooler it is in SF than in Sunnyvale, and no one brought jackets. Oops!
Grant loved watching everyone and everything from his stroller (especially his big sister!)
Cecilia made a fish with a little bit of help from one of the volunteers/workers.
We were able to see the top of some of the aquariums. It was neat to see them from that perspective!

Cecilia got to touch a couple things in the touch pool.
She wasn't quite sure what she thought though. Apparently the things were a little slimy.

There was a HUGE "nest" of leaf-cutter ants in the rainforest dome.
There were also macaws (I think). Cecilia loved seeing the "birdies"!
Grant up on the "living roof". They planted a bunch of flowers and other plants on the roof of the museum.
