Photos from early November

Here's some photos from early November.

In early November, our family got Hand Foot and Mouth disease. Grant and Chad had it the worst, but Cecilia also had symptoms and I might have had a mild case. Unfortunately, while Grant was contagious, but not yet showing symptoms, we exposed Shayla and Annabella when we went trick-or-treating with them. Unfortunately, both of them also got it and ended up having bad cases. :( Although most times adults don't get Hand Foot and Mouth (or if they do, it is really mild with few symptoms), Chad also got sores. At one point, he told me that his face was so itchy that he wanted to put it in a belt sander.

Our little smiley! His smile is so sweet and it makes everyone else smile.

On November 7th, Emily came to visit! She and Cory had flown up from LA to go to the 49ers-Falcons game to watch one of Cory's friends play in the game.

The kids were so excited to see Emily! They wanted to show her everything that they could do at the park, and Emily showed them some tricks too, like flipping on the monkey bars!

On November 8th, we were feeling a little stir crazy after a long week of dealing with the Hand Foot and Mouth, but we were all doing better, so we went to the mall.

On the 10th, we went back to the doctor and Cecilia got her cast cut off. She had just about full motion right after the cast came off, which was great! Unfortunately (in Cecilia's opinion), she had to wait until after Christmas (or 8 weeks from the injury) until she could hang on the monkey bars again.

Our little VT fan (for the Peanuts)!

Here's Grant "nursing" his baby. He likes to sit in my nursing pillow and pretend to use it with his baby occasionally.

Halloween Celebrations

Here are a few photos from the kids' Halloween celebrations. Both kids had celebrations at school on 10/30 and then trick-or-treating on 10/31.

Cecilia was really excited to celebrate with her classmates!

Here's the parade

It's Supergirl!

Our little pumpkin! He was so happy that day!

Na na na na, na na na na, Batman!

Even Daddy was able to come to the Halloween parades!

Some of the candy haul

Watching some Charlie Brown and Snoopy while we handed out candy

Cecilia made little notes to hand out with the candy. She had them all set up and ready to pass out when people knocked on the door. You could tell that a lot of the kids that got the notes were a little confused about why she was handing them out. We also had bubbles for anyone that couldn't or didn't want candy. Amazingly, there were a lot of people that were really excited about the bubbles. We will probably do that again next year.

One tired little Robin before bed.
