Photos and videos from early-April while Grandma Peanut was here

Here are some photos and videos from early- to mid-April.

Grant being a goof on 4/7/15! He was rooting for Duke in the NCAA basketball National Championship game.

Sue took a photo of Gaoder and me showing our pregnant bellies. I was about 26 weeks, Gaoder was 40 weeks.

BFFs before our CalTrain field trip with their class on 4/9/15.

Later on 4/9/15, Daddy was showing pictures and videos from his "performance driving'' day at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. He said something about wearing a "headsock" under his helmet. Cecilia then ran back to her room and came back out with a head sock of her own (a sock on her head). We were all cracking up about it!

On 4/10/15, Cecilia and her class got to have a spring egg hunt at school. There were even enough eggs that the siblings were also invited to join in too, which made Grant really happy!

Grant decided to stab his bread with his fork and eat it that way on 4/11/15.

Easter

Some photos from Easter Sunday, on April 5th.

A little post-church photo shoot.

Then the kids started looking for their Easter baskets.

Later, we dyed some eggs. 

Later, after rest time, Alan, Gaoder, and I took the kids to the park. While we were walking across the street, we saw a fire truck parked further down the street. So we decided to go down and check it out. While we were walking there, the fire fighters came out of one of the houses and were getting back into their truck. They saw the kids watching and waving to them, so one of them came over to say hi, and gave the kids DPS sticker badges. Then as they were pulling out, they put on their lights and honked the horn for the kids. The kids were really excited about that!

That silly Easter Bunny hid eggs in the funniest spots!

For dinner, Chad made sous vide lamb chops, we had potato salad, pesto pasta, and sourdough bread.

After dinner, Chad decided it was time to burn his "sacrificial peep".

Then we decorated our bunny cake.

And after eating some cake, it was time to go to bed. It was a nice day!
